Entre-Marés Route is a mobile application that aims to promote, in an interactive way, knowledge about the oceans and the biological wealth present in the tidal zone of the Avencas Marine Protected Area and Ria Formosa Natural Park, through the presentation of several multimedia content and challenges. The project “Roteiro Entre Tides” was financed by Fundo Azul – General Directorate of Maritime Policy (FA_06_2017_011). The Project was coordinated by Cláudia Faria, from the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon, responsible for the creation of the didactic contents, in close collaboration with the Department of Informatics of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, responsible for the creation and development of the computer application. In addition to these two institutions, the project also had as partner institutions: EMAC – Municipal Environment Company of Cascais; Living Science Center from Tavira to Cascais Ambiente; João de Deus School of Education; Open University – Department of Science and Technology; MARE – Center for Marine and Environmental Sciences. The project also had the collaboration of Carla Kullberg (FC/ULisboa), and Frederico Almada (MARE/ISPA) for the development of some of the contents. The illustrations are by Beatriz Santos.
